Who we are
A London branding agency that makes things
Artorian is a branding and marketing agency based in Leyton, east London. We design brands, build websites, run digital marketing and produce physical things — signage, print, merchandise and, increasingly, contactless cards.
The NFC card started as something we made for ourselves. Clients kept asking where ours had come from, and it grew into a product line of its own.
Everything is designed and finished by us here in London. We are not reselling a white-label card with your name dropped into a template — we lay out every card individually and build every mini website to match the brand it belongs to.
Why we make them
Paper cards have one job, and they keep failing at it
The point of a business card is to still exist tomorrow. Most of them do not.
They go out of date
A new number, a new title or a new office turns a full box into scrap. The information is printed, so the only fix is to print it again.
They get lost
Handed over at the end of a conversation, put in a pocket, found in a wash. The introduction happened; the contact did not survive it.
They stop at the name
A card can carry a number and an email. It cannot carry your portfolio, your services, your LinkedIn or your Instagram — the things that turn a contact into work.
What we wanted instead
Something with enough weight that people actually keep hold of it. Something that puts your details into their phone properly, in one press, without either of you installing anything. And something you can change yourself, for free, for as long as you own it. That is the whole brief — and it is what the card does.
